Centennial Golf Club is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Carmel, New York. Centennial has three 9-hole courses that can be played in 3 different 18 hole combinations. They courses are: The Meadows Course, The Fairways Course and The Lakes Course. The 18-hole combinations are : Meadows/Fairways, Lakes/Fairways, and Lakes/Meadows.
18 holes of Centennial Golf Club golf facility opened for play in 1998. The Lakes 9 was added in 2000. The courses were designed by Larry Nelson.
Centennial Golf Club was built on an old horse farm in rural New York. This rural, lush and scenic course has a secluded feel, despite being located only 65 miles north of Manhattan. This is a championship-caliber course that, because of the multiple tees on each hole, can be enjoyed by players of all abilities.
Both the Meadows (3,516 yards, par-36) and Lakes (3,599 yards, par-36) courses feature accommodating fairways with plenty of elevation changes and generous, undulating greens. The Fairways Course (3,534 yards, par-36), with its tree-lined fairways, has a flatter, more conventional Northeastern design.
The signature hole at Centennial Golf Club, #6, a 386-yard, par 4, is found on the Lakes Course. This hole drops 100 feet from the tee to a generous landing area, which is bunkered on both sides. Following a slight dogleg right, the hole plays to a sloping green framed by mature trees.
Carts are mandatory on the course.
